Before you sit down with someone about the hardest parts of your life, you should know who is on the other side of the table.

Your coach
Andrea Batten
Apostle, deliverance minister, life coach, and consultant. Andrea has served in ministry for more than twenty-five years, across Jamaica, New York, and now Delaware.
Born in Jamaica, Andrea gave her life to Christ in 1999. The church she settled into was led by a deliverance minister, and it shaped everything that followed — deliverance, obedience, evangelism, and a habit of studying the word closely. She began ministering shortly after, and has been doing this work ever since.
She founded the ministry in 2005, originally as Ministry of the Miraculous. After moving to the United States it was renamed Living Room Gathering Place — a name chosen deliberately, because the work has always happened in ordinary rooms with ordinary people rather than from a stage.

“It is not about being the greatest or the highest. It is about knowing what your function is, and staying in it.”

The fivefold ministry
What the office of apostle actually means here.
The title carries different weight in different traditions, so it is worth saying plainly what it means at Living Room Gathering Place.
What it means
Ephesians lists five gifts — apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher — given to equip the church so that people grow up and serve. Andrea treats the office as a function, not a rank. It describes what she was sent to do: build, establish, and help people mature.
What it does not mean
It is not a rank above other believers, and it does not make anyone’s word unquestionable. Andrea does not lead with the title or press it on people who see it differently. If you do not share her understanding of it, you are still welcome here.
How she is accountable
Andrea is covered by the apostolic ministry that ordained her, and she remains under that authority rather than operating independently. She was commissioned by others, not self-appointed.
Before you book
Questions people ask first.
What is a session actually like?
Mostly listening, at least at first. You describe what you are carrying and Andrea asks questions before she offers anything. There is prayer if you want it, and none if you would rather not. You leave with something specific to work on rather than only encouragement. Sessions are conversational and unhurried, and nothing dramatic happens to you without your consent.
Who do you work with?
Individuals, couples, and families working through direction, habits, healing, or a hard decision. She has also spent years in marriage counseling and in deliverance ministry. Consulting is for ministries and mission-driven teams that need structure to match their calling.
Do I have to share your beliefs?
No. People arrive curious, returning after time away, or already sure of what they believe, and all three are welcome. Andrea is plain about where she stands and will not pretend otherwise, but you will not be pressured toward a decision or asked to agree with her to be taken seriously.
Is coaching the same as counseling or therapy?
No. Spiritual coaching is not licensed mental health care, and it is not a substitute for it. If something you are carrying needs a therapist or a doctor, Andrea will say so and help you find one rather than working outside what coaching is for.
What does it cost?
The first session is free — forty-five minutes, no obligation on either side. Pricing for anything beyond that is discussed after, once you both know what you are working on. If the fee is a barrier, say so and it will be worked out.
Is what I share kept private?
Yes. What you bring to a session stays between you and your coach. The one exception is a situation involving danger to you or someone else, where Andrea would help you get the right help rather than keep it to herself.

The first session is free, and there is no obligation on either side.
Forty-five minutes to see whether this is a fit. Bring whatever you are actually carrying, or bring your questions about whether this is for you at all.
